Craig Farrar

Craig lives in Taupo with supportive wife Wendy balancing being a stay at home Dad to Thomas(age 15mths), while part time managing two small businesses Dream Trout New Zealand(fly fishing guides) and Left Hand Web Ltd.

Craig has been competing in fly fishing since 2003 when he fished his first Regional event and has competed at two previous World Champs(2006 and 2008). Highlights include being part of the successful silver medal team, an individual session winner and individual placing of 21st at the 2008 World Champs.

Another highlight was setting a NZ record for fish caught in a single 3 hour session at 44 measured fish at the 2010 National Fly Fishing Champs.

Craig is looking forward to again competing against the worlds best fly anglers in 2012.
