Welcome to Sports Fly Fishing New Zealand’s ( SFFNZ ) home.
SFFNZ's aim is to promote competitive fly fishing in New Zealand and to provide a national structure whereby regional and national competitions could be held and to select teams to attend international competitions.
On our web site you will find such things as our events calendar, rules and regulations and information on the NZ Silver Flies (our national team) who have a “ask a question section” where you can ask a team member anything about fly-fishing. Please give it a go.

New Zealand's Best Trout Flies is the culmination of years of experience on rivers and lakes throughout the country. Not only is the book a special addition to every angler's library but it is signed by the 30 anglers who have contributed to it.
These very special and signed and numbered limited editions are presently on sale for $120 each with all proceeds going to the Silver Flies team to help fund entry into the international events.
